Granny Smith Apple and Golden Raisin Chutney

Jackson's Apple Chutney recipe
Serves:
4 cups
Ingredients:

4 cups Fresh Granny Smith Apples, skinned, diced medium size
2 cups Dried golden raisins
1 large Vidalia onion, skinned, diced medium
1 Red bell pepper, diced medium
¼ cup Brown sugar
¼ cup White sugar
¼ cup Apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Fresh mint, chopped fine
2 cups Water
1 Cinnamon stick

Slurry
¼ cup Water
2 tablespoons Arrowroot

 

Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 minutes. Whisk arrowroot with water to make a slurry and stir into simmering chutney to bind. Remove cinnamon stick. Let cool and store in tightly sealed container in refrigerator.
