Diane M. Henderiks, R.D., "Dietitian in the KitchenTM"
Join visiting celebrity culinary educator and nutritionist, "Dietitian in the KitchenTM" Diane M. Henderiks, R.D., for a special installment of our cooking-class series at Jackson's Steakhouse on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Two classes are scheduled; the first begins promptly at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m., and the second begins at 7:30 p.m. and concludes at 9:00 p.m. The class will cover everything from shopping to preparation to presentation of a healthy, nutritious four-course meal. The cost for the class is $100 per person, which covers the cooking demonstration, tastings of the dishes, wine pairings, and a take-home recipe booklet so you can try your hand at Henderiks' recipes in the comfort of your own home.
Diane M. Henderiks, R.D., also known as the "Dietitian in the KitchenTM," is a leading U.S. nutritionist, personal chef, culinary educator, fitness expert, television personality, contributing editor to national publications and a Fortune 500 nutritional consultant.
Henderiks will be in Pensacola in April, filming for a national televised broadcast as well as presenting for the Gulf Coast Health Expo. According to Collier Merrill, President of Jackson's and the Great Southern Restaurant Group, "Last year Diane did a great job with a cooking demonstration at Jackson's - we are excited that she is coming back to Pensacola and to have her come back to Jackson's for another round of cooking demonstrations."
Diane is the author of two cookbooks and is the designer of her own line of salt, fat and sugar-free gourmet spice blends. In addition, she is a regular, monthly on-air contributor for "Good Morning America Health" (ABC) and host of "Healthy Bites with Diane Henderiks," which airs on News 12 NJ, the largest New Jersey news channel. Media appearances have included CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CNN, TLC and Martha Stewart Radio, as well as numerous major network affiliates across the country. Diane has also been featured in The New York Times.
Diane travels the country educating the public about how to cook, shop and live healthy.
