1½ ounces Cognac (we use Hennessy)
¾ ounce dry vermouth
¾ ounce Carpano Antica Formula
¼ ounce Cointreau
Twist of orange (garnish)
Fill martini glass with ice and give it a splash of absinthe. Let it sit. In a cocktail shaker, combine all the other ingredients and add ice. Shake well for about 30 seconds. Dump ice and any liquid from the glass and strain in the contents of the shaker. Garnish with a twist of orange.
